First-year research opportunities

Jacob Marogi ’19 began working in Prof. Nikki Shariat’s lab as a first-year student.

This high-quality research experience in Jacob’s first year helped him uncover his passion for science, as well as embark on his quest for answers. By partnering with Prof. Shariat, Jacob discovered that he wants to pursue molecular biology in graduate school.

Celebration

Presenting your research

Celebration is Gettysburg College’s annual colloquium on undergraduate research, creative activity, and community engagement. We bring together a wide range of committed and energized students as they showcase their great work. By presenting their research, students gain the opportunity to improve their communication and writing skills, and play an active role in the community of researchers.
