Class of 2022 profile

Gettysburg College students come from a wide variety of ethnic, religious, economic and geographicbackgrounds. They are bright, curious, creative, and like to be challenged. They are academically strongand engaged in a wide range of activities from athletics and the arts, to community service and studentgovernment. They are purposeful, hardworking and happy students who take full advantage of the arrayof opportunities at Gettysburg.

The Class of 2022 profile highlights the academic achievement of a talented entering class. One studentinitiated a project to bring clean water to his village in Kenya and another conducted research in ananotechnology lab through an internship at Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute. There are ESL tutors,volunteer firefighters, athletes, artists, writers, and agents of social change. One student created andbuilt the Unity Park on the Gettysburg National Battlefield and another performed at Carnegie Hall ninetimes. The list is endless and impressive, and we are proud of all that this class brings to Gettysburg.
